This Sunday we celebrate Pentecost and give thanks for the gift of Jesus’ Holy Spirit. We will dive into Jesus’ teaching in John 14 and be reminded that in the midst of our fears and anxieties, God has not left us alone with our doubting minds and troubled hearts. Jesus sends us a Helper, His Holy Spirit, who moves us to remember and to trust that God’s promises in Jesus are sure and certain. And the result? Peace. Everything is going to be okay.

God willing, we will be calling a new pastor on Sunday. It is so interesting that the Acts reading for the day records a similar event in the early church. This is a big deal since it depends upon the Holy Spirit to guide and lead us as well as the one we call. The message will have an emphasis on prayer. Please continue your personal prayer on this!
Family is an incredible gift that God has given us. Bring Mom and join the rest of the family of God as we take a look this weekend at what it means to be The Church. There's something a little special for Mom too!
