Welcome to Our Savior Lutheran School! Our school is all about relationships: with students...parents...families...and most importantly, with Jesus.  Beginning with our Transitional Kindergarten classes and continuing through 8th grade we will walk with you in your child's educational life. With Integrated Faith, Rich and Rigorous Academics, Strong Character Development, and Embedded Technology.

We Engage students in an education that incorporates Jesus into the heart of all we do. We Encourage students through a welcoming, safe and caring environment allowing children to grow spiritually, physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially. Re-enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year continues with priority given to returning students through January 31.

TADS OSLM Enrollment

Continuing students who have not completed re-enrollment by January 31, risk losing their spots. Please contact the school office with any questions.

7:50 am Drop off Begins

1:00 pm TK Dismissal (Wednesday - Dismissal for All Grades)

3:00 pm K-8th Grade Dismissal

Wednesday is a minimum day each week to allow for classroom cleaning.
Dismissal on Wednesdays is at 1:00 pm.

For scheduled Friday minimum days dismissal is at 12:00 pm

Using the Core Knowledge Sequence curriculum, our dedicated staff is committed to offering as many opportunities for growth as possible. 

Knowledge-based schooling puts the emphasis of early education on teaching and learning an enabling core of broadly shared knowledge—enabling because it builds strong foundations for later learning and opens doors to effective participation and mutual understanding in the wider society. Such knowledge is possessed by successful adults and taken for granted by literate writers and speakers. It’s the broad and diverse knowledge that makes responsible citizenship possible.

 In addition to the core subjects, our curriculum is enriched with:

  • Religion for grades TK – 8
  • Music for grades TK – 8
  • Band for grades 5 – 8
  • Art – a specialized art teacher for grades K – 8
  • Spanish for grades 2 – 8
  • STEM for grades 3 – 8
  • Physical Education for TK – 8
  • Handbells for 6 - 8

Accreditation

Our Savior is a part of both the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the National Lutheran Schools Association (NLSA). 

Our Savior is currently accredited through 2028. 

WASC accredits elementary and secondary schools; not-for-profit, non-degree granting adult schools; and supplementary education programs. WASC encourages school improvement through a process of continuing evaluation and recognizes institutions through granting accreditation to the schools that meet an acceptable level of quality in accordance with the established criteria. National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) serves as the accrediting body for Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod schools across the United States and the world. NLSA has been accrediting schools in the LCMS since 1978, and accreditation decisions have always been based upon a school’s compliance with national standards for Lutheran schools that reflect the essential qualities that are expected of Lutheran schools. What is the H.E.R.O.Program?

The H.E.R.O. Program is: Simple, Evidence-based, and Comprehensive! 

  • Age-appropriate active shooter curriculum for grades K-12
  • Non-threatening lesson plans based on grade-specific narratives and collaboration
  • Learning resources for school, home, and special education
  • All-staff professional development presented in-person or via facilitated video
  • Optional continuing education credits issued by Brandman University
  • Rubrics and training records included to lessen liability
  • Schoolwide active shooter scenario guide provides contextual application of learned skills
  • Student accessibility guide provides equity and access for all students
  • All components are updated annually and delivered digitally
