Got travel plans this summer? We know that with summer comes much-needed vacations and family road trips. When your family is not on the road this summer, plan on continuing to connect with us and your friends from the Family Worship service.
Every other week families will get together from 10:30 to 11:30 AM to enjoy brunch, a Bible study, and an activity for the entire family to participate in together. The focus of the Bible studies will be to equip your family to incorporate a few faith practices into your faith life at home.
Family Worship will resume on August 13. Until then, mark your calendars so you don’t miss out on our Summer Family Experience.
June 25 – Living the Fruits of the Spirit/Lawn Games
July 9 – Prayer/Scavenger Hunt
July 23 – Bible Reading/Water Play
August 6 – Faith Practices during the school year/Sunshine Kit service project
Middle School is a transitional time for students as they grow in their relationship with God and create ownership in their faith. Friendships, hands-on experiences, and caring support are also pivotal for providing a nurturing ministry that helps young people find their place in the Church and in life. At Our Savior, we surround our middle school students with grace, love, and room to just be middle schoolers. We also want to support your entire family as you navigate this formative stage in the life of your child.
Each Sunday the middle school and high school youth meet from 7:00-8:30 PM to spend time growing in their relationship with God and with each other.
6th through 8th Grade Youth Group meets after school from 1:00-2:30 PM on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, in the Youth Room.
Starting in the 6th Grade, students can participate in our confirmation program as they explore God’s Word, Lutheran doctrine, and their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. For more information about Confirmation, contact Sara Agee.
High School students need a place to call their own. They also need a faith to call their own. At Our Savior, we invest in our High School students by walking beside them as they navigate school, family, and their personal identity. We enjoy helping them to wrestle with tough questions about their faith and the world around them as they apply God's Word to their daily lives. Our goal for our High School Ministry is to prepare students to be leaders in their faith and disciples to those around them as they live out a life-long relationship with Jesus Christ. We also want to support you as parents in their journey, as you will be the ones to walk with them even after they leave high school.
Each Sunday the middle school and high school youth meet from 7:00-8:30 PM to spend time growing in their relationship with God and with each other.
Youth participating in events as a part of our youth ministry need to have a current health form on file. This form is good for activities from September 2022 through August 2023. Download a copy below, then complete and return it to Sara Agee.
