Dear Our Savior Family,
August is going to be an exciting month around Our Savior!
We are so excited to welcome more than 400 young people and their families to our campus between our school and preschool. What a joy and a privilege it will be to walk together with them over the upcoming year as we share the love of Jesus with them.
We are also excited to launch our new Family Service on Sunday evenings at 6 PM, starting on August 15. Building off of what we are already doing in our weekly chapel, we are creating a place for the whole family to grow spiritually, get connected with new and old friends, and have fun together. As we think about the Family Service, it is a great place for kids to bring their parents to learn about Jesus.
Also, on August 15, we will be launching into a new sermon series called “The Blessed Life”. Together we will explore the Biblical concept of blessing. What we will find is that God, the one who blesses us with all that we have and makes us who we are, blesses us in order that we in turn might bless those whom He has placed around us.
Friends, God is at work doing some awesome and amazing things. Let’s cover all of these things in prayer that God may use these opportunities He is giving us to make an eternal difference in the lives of people all around us. You are invited to a special night of prayer on Wednesday, August 11 at 6:30 PM where we will be praying for our church, school, preschool, and especially the launch of the new Family Service. We’d love to have you join us!
