What does an event that is 500 years old have to do with our worship life today? Come to Family Worship on Sunday at 11:15am to find out how Martin Luther NAILED IT both literally and figuratively as we celebrate the Reformation!
We are celebrating Reformation this week. It marks a historic event in 1517, but also reminds us of an important “reforming process” that was triggered then. Martin Luther will talk about that reforming process later in 1530 when he reflects on “…not being freed from papal control, but to liberate the “Gospel of Free Grace in Christ.” What does that free gift of grace bring to you?
Family Worship this week is focusing on our joyful response to God's grace with a big word--sanctification. We'll take a look at what we do with the grace God joyfully gives to us!
Some church leaders present Jesus with a question with the intention of trapping Him. His answer gives us some things to think about in our changing local and global situations. What are the “things of this world?” What are the “things of God?”
How does something as simple as water do something so amazing? It's a necessity of life and yet, paired with the Word, the possibilities are EXTRAORDINARY!!
