What to Expect

Children

We love kids! Our family service is specifically designed to engage the whole family in worship together. If your younger child needs some extra space to wiggle, we have a cry room connected to the sanctuary as well as a staffed nursery in that same building. We hope to see you and your family sometime soon. Click the link below for information on our other Children's Ministry offerings.

Youth

God has called everyone to be a part of His ministry. As our youth are comfortable, we encourage and equip them to be an active part of Sunday services. After the family service, our youth meet for Bible Study, activities, and fellowship from 7:00-8:30 pm in the youth room (next to the middle school classrooms). Click the link below for information on our other Youth Ministry offerings.

Get Connected

Life is a journey with many twists and turns. As you explore what it means to be a part of our community of faith, we invite you to take part in The On-Ramp, a course that explores the basics of the Christian faith and what it means to be a part of a local community of believers in this place.

Worship FAQ's

Will there be childcare for my preschooler or toddler?

Yes, while we are designing this service with the whole family in mind, we know that for the very youngest children there will be times when they need some time outside the service. Nursery care will be provided each week.

Who can attend in-person worship services?

Anyone who is not showing known symptoms of COVID-19 is welcome to attend. We encourage people who might be more vulnerable to the virus to make prayerful and wise decisions about what is best for their personal health. That applies to those 65 and older and those with underlying health issues.

Are children welcome?

Yes! We are all about kids! Our family service has been designed to be accessible to the whole family, where the whole family can learn, grow, and connect together.

Social Distancing - How will seating be managed in the worship services?

We know that not everyone is ready to relax social distancing. Our sanctuary is spacious enough to provide ample room for seating along with a special social distancing section for those desiring just a bit more space.

Is Our Savior following CDC and Health Department regulations and guidelines?

Yes. COVID-19 is still impacting our community, and your safety and health are important to us.  We continue to monitor changes to the guidance provided to us from at the federal, state, and county levels and make the necessary adjustments to protocol and practice as needed.

Are masks required?

Yes, as of Aug. 3, 2021, Alameda County has reinstituted the indoor mask requirement. As we did before, we will continue to follow state and local guidance on the use of masks.

Is hand sanitizer provided?

Yes, hand sanitizer is in various locations on our campus. Attendees are encouraged to use it. You may also provide your own.

Are worship services offered online?

Yes, worship services will be recorded and offered online each week on YouTube
