The book of Leviticus (the third book of the Bible) is not studied very often. People tend to be put off by all the repetitive details, which don’t seem to have much to do with present-day life and worship. But, like everything in the Word of God, it is there for a reason. Its emphasis on the worship of God and on the holiness of life are just as relevant today as they were in the time of Moses. In this new Sunday morning Bible class, we will concentrate on the “high points” of Leviticus, seeing how the book points us to Christ and His sacrificial death for us, as well as how it can help us to live a holy life as 21st-century Christians. The class will be taught by Norman Back, starting Sunday, May 8, at 10:30 a.m. in the Conference Room.
The Women's Bible study is currently working on a study on Elijah (following Priscilla Shirer's curriculum). We will wrap up around Easter.
We meet every Friday morning from 9:30am – 11am at both the church and via Zoom. If you’d like to join in the fellowship and learning of this study, contact Beth Young to get the details.
Each Friday at both 6:30 am (Zoom only) and 9:30 am (In-person and Zoom), the men of OSLM work their way through the Bible one book at a time. Currently in Exodus, the study walks through a particular chapter making connections across the whole of the Bible. Contact Norman Back using the form below so you can get on the addressee list for the Zoom notifications.
