Next Steps

We know that finding the right church home can be hard and even intimidating at times.  There are so many different options and each one is so different.  At times, the idea of just starting the process can be overwhelming.  To help make that process a little easier, we have created this road map of next steps to help guide you in getting started at Our Savior.  Know that you aren't alone on this journey and we are here to help every step along the way.  We look forward to walking this journey with you.  

  • just Show Up

    I know this may seem obvious, but it really is the next step.  We invite you to come join us for worship or Bible Study or really anything.  We'd love to have you visit and meet you.  We recognize that for many people this is a big maybe even scary step to step into an environment that is new and different, so we will do our best to provide a warm and friendly environment that will make you feel at home.  We can't wait to meet you.

  • Come to a Party

    About once a quarter, we have a party with one purpose: to get to know you.  That's really it.  We aren't selling anything or putting any high pressure deals on the table.  It's our chance to get to know you and your chance to get to know some of the leaders at Our Savior and ask some of your questions.  

  • Take The On-Ramp

    The On-Ramp is exactly that an on-ramp to a life of faith and life at Our Savior.  Over 8 weeks, we journey together exploring some of the great questions of faith and what it looks like to live a life of faith.  The On-Ramp is generally offered twice a year. At the end of The On-Ramp, you will be given the option to join the church  as a member however this is an opportunity not a requirement.  There is no pressure.  The greatest value of The On-Ramp is the learning and community that happens as we journey together.  For more information or to sign up contact Jill in the church office at oslm@oslm.net. 

  • Follow Jesus

    At it's core, this is really what it's all about. God's desire is that ALL people might know Him and walk with Him.  Everything we do at Our Savior is geared towards not only helping people come to know Jesus but growing as a follower of Jesus.  To start following Jesus, you don't have to have all the answers but simply put your faith and trust in Jesus.  Along the way, there will be questions,  there will be ups and downs, but we are here to walk that road with you and together navigate the road of life while following Jesus.  

  • Choose Community

    At Our Savior, we believe that life is better together.  As we read the Bible, we see that God created us to be in relationship with Him but also to be in relationships with other people, and so we want to invite you into relationships with other followers of Jesus.  We all need someone to laugh with and at times to cry with, and we believe that we learn and grow in our faith best in the context of relationships.  There are some awesome people at Our Savior and we would love to walk the journey of faith together with you.  

  • Invite A Friend

    Have you ever had that experience where you went to a restaurant that you absolutely loved?  Besides instantly beginning to plan your return visit, what else did you do?  You began telling everyone who would listen about how they have to go check it out. We believe the same is true with the love of Jesus.  Once we experience the love of Jesus in our lives, we want it to be contagious, something you can't help but share with those you love.  The beautiful thing about church is that it is always unfinished.  It's always a work in progress. There is always room for more.  And so we invite you to invite your friends to come and checkout what this whole God this is all about. 



  • Join The Mission

    God has called each and every one of us to be a part of His mission.  At Our Savior, our desire is for every one to be a part of the ministry that God has called us to do.  The reality is you have skills and passions that are unique to you and without you, ministry just wouldn't be the same.  So we need one another.  We encourage you to find a place to plug in and serve.  If you need help finding just that right spot, please talk with one of our staff or elders and we'd love to help you find your niche.
