What To Expect in Worship
Feel Comfortable. While there is no 'dress code', it is common for worshipers to dress "California Casual." We're not here for show - we gather on the weekend to connect to God and His people in worship. You will see people wearing everything from a suit to shorts and sandals.
Children. Children are always welcome in church. We have special bags designed to help children under 5 and a special children's message every week. We have a special nursery and cry located on the side of the Sanctuary for use by parents of our smallest worshippers.
Relax and Mingle. Join us in the courtyard and gym after worship for a great cup of coffee, a doughnut and friendly people to talk with.
Give at the offering? The offering is an opportunity in our service for us to be able to give back to God out of what He has first given to us. We do not expect visitors to participate unless they too are moved to express thankfulness to God. Please do fill out a card and place it in the offering plate. This will give us the opportunity to know that you worshiped with us and connect with you the following week.
Communion - Do I participate? Holy Communion is for those who believe as we do in this Sacrament of the Altar. We believe it is the true body and blood of Jesus Christ, in, with, and under the bread and the wine, given for the forgiveness of our sins. If you have questions about communion, our pastor would love to talk to you and answer any questions you might have.
Assisted Listening. Having trouble hearing? We've got you converd. Wireless hearing assist devices are available, please inquire at the sound desk in the rear of the sanctuary and we would be glad to help.
